Greenpeace – Protect the Oceans is a publication documenting the exhibition “Protect the Oceans”, presented at Stockholm Central Station.
The book brings together photographs of the installation and the campaign materials created for the event, including visitor signatures supporting a stronger ocean treaty (“för ett starkt havsavtal”). It also features messages written by visitors addressed to the Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs at the time, Ann Linde, along with informational content about ocean protection and concrete ways to take action.
The exhibition combined powerful visuals from Greenpeace ocean expeditions with human waste collected from beaches and the sea, highlighting both the urgent state of the oceans and a message of hope. A central element of the installation was a five-metre humpback whale sculpture with her calf.
